The 37th Annual Golden Bell Auction
The Vines That Bind
Welcome to the Bellarmine Vineyard!

"Wine is constant proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
- Benjamin Franklin
On Saturday, March 16, 2013, the spirit of old Ben will be with us as we come together to celebrate Bellarmine's 37th annual Golden Bell Auction.
Back in 1953, the school hosted its very first Golden Bell Dinner Dance. It quickly became one of the biggest social events in the valley, commanding the front page of the San Jose Mercury News' Society page each year.
Then in 1977, Le Grand Golden Bell Auction, a fundraising event of food, cocktails and the fantastic Live Auction, was created. Through the years the Golden Bell has raised the standards for elegance and success. In 1996, it became the first event of its kind to raise $500,000 in one night, and then in 2007, it became the first to break the $1 million ceiling with a net total of $1.1M.
Last year, more than 600 guests and volunteers enjoyed the finest food, along with delicious wines and cocktails, as they bid on more than 400 silent and 20 live items, helping raise $400,000 for Bellarmine.
We hope that you will mark your calendars and join us for an evening of fun and festivities!
